At St. Augustine School, we work to spread the good N.E.W.S. of Jesus by educating body, mind & spirit, worshipping God, and serving others. Our mission is demonstrated daily within our school. Our students are active participants in the masses at St. Augustine Catholic Church as altar servers, lectors, and gift bearers. Prayer is a fundamental part of our daily activities. We pray together as a school community each morning and before lunch every day. St. Augustine students prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation (second Grade), Eucharist (Second Grade), and Confirmation (Eighth Grade). Our students also participate in many acts of service, within the school and the community. At St. Augustine, we focus on educating the total student: spiritually, physically, intellectually, creatively, and emotionally.
